The Crying Woman
DESCRIPTION:
Colombian mythology: There are several versions of La Llorona's story. Commonly it is said she's a woman who was seduced by a man who abandons her after having many children together. The most common legend says that she drowned her children when she could no longer support them. On nights with a full moon she can be heard crying by the river.
